Going out as a student is hard! Who has money to be throwing away every weekend? Then again, who wants to Netflix and chill all the time? We need to let off some steam after stressful weeks of school. Fortunately, we have some ideas to help you out!
1) Find free events and activities: there are so many options for free activities, you just have to find them. Try something new and see what your city has to offer. Adventures, here we come.
2) Get on a guest list: Clubs want me to pay to come and be the life of the party? They should pay me! But free cover and line bypass will do. Call ahead and get on guest list to save some money.
3) Win tickets: Radio stations and companies like SPC do contests all the time for free tickets to events. You can’t win if you don’t participate, so stay connected for opportunities to get a piece of the action.
4) Walk or bike to your destination: Transportation eats into your activities budget, kill two birds with one stone: some extra exercise and save money.
We get it, going out on a budget sucks- but you can make the most of it! Save some cash when you go out and you can do even more. I’m forever looking for ways to help your bank account flourish- thank me later.
