So, today I was in the drive through at a coffee shop, waiting to get extra caffeinated to tackle Monday (I was  lip syncing my heart out, as per usual). I pulled up, placed my order and headed for the next window. When I went to pay, the employee told me not to worry about it and that the person in front of me had paid for my order. How sweet, right? I wish I could’ve said thank you and let them know that made my entire day. I proceeded to pay for the person who was behind me, in hopes that their day would be made and that they would continue to pay forward. The idea of improving someone’s day felt as good as getting the free coffee.

If you’re reading this, next time you have an chance to do something kind for someone- take it! Even if it’s just something small like a $2 coffee, you don’t know whose day you’re turning around.
