Check out any celebrity gossip article online, and we can all agree that Kylie Jenner has been the talk of the Hollywood town; what seems to be a completely new look for the already beautiful youngest sister of the Kardashian empire is what everyone is talking about! What’s important to keep in mind that there are ways to play around with your look without participating in the #kyliejennerchallenge.
So today, we’re going to show you how to create fuller, lucious lips, without doing anything drastic (needles really aren’t our thing).
Good old fashion lip liner: Use a lip liner that matches your lip colour; start lining outside your lips (but not TOO much, you don’t want it to look excessive, you still want it to look natural). To do this, start with smiling so your lips are taught, and being with outlining your cupid’s bow. Have fun with the shape! You never know what looks good until you try all of them. Once you’ve created your outline, go ahead and fill in the rest of your lips.
Concealer + lip liner: Use a flesh-toned lip liner or concealer to fill in the centre area of your lips! Add a bit more on the bottom of your lip to give it more dimension, and really make them pop. Next, blend your concealer out, but still make sure that the brightest area is around the centre of your lips. Next, add a nude lip gloss over your lips, and voila!
What you’ll need:
Cinnamon powder/Cayenne Pepper
What to do:
Start brushing your lips in a circular motion with your lip balm, do this for a couple minutes, and see how your lips look and feel!
If you want this to laste a little longer, try using cayenne pepper or cinammon powder! Test a little bit on your wrist first so you’ll know if you’re allergic to either. Good to go? Mix a little olive oil and cinnamon powder or cayenne pepper into a bowl, and then scrub your lips for about 2 minutes. You may feel a little bit of a burning sensation, but it’s nothing to worry about! It’s almost like when you eat a little spicy food and some gets on your lips. Scrubbing your lips like this will promote blood flow to the lips, creating a plumper, fuller look!
I know it sounds cheesy, but it really is all about how you FEEL. If you feel better with your lips looking a little fuller in size, don’t be afraid to experiment and try out different looks!
